Sword Play

I am not the type of photographer who tries to practice on my child every moment I get. I never want Cameron to get frustrated with the camera. Although, I am learning that when he is not in the mood, he just is not in the mood!

Well, Cameron just turned four, so it was time to update his photos. I think this was my first time using my new black seamless backdrop, and I LOVE it! Nice even tones throughout. And once again my simple light set-up has proven it's worth.

My favorite images from this session were when Cameron got his new sword and posed with it. This kid can really deliver some emotion when he wants to! I love the dramatic posing and lighting in these. It really adds to the mood.
