Meet Ronan - {Riverside Family Photography}
This was a very special session. I love working with all my little babies, but every once in a while, I get to work with one I am actually related to! Ronan is the newest addition to our extended family, the son of my brother Matt. He and his wife, Christina have been waiting a long time to welcome this newest little peanut, so it was pretty exciting for everyone. Big Brother Levi seems pretty happy about having a new little brother to hang out with, and talks a lot about what he is going to teach his little brother. "I am going to teach him how to fart and burp!". Yup, boys. LOL.
When I first got to their home the day before the shoot, Ronan was fast asleep. In fact, I barely saw him with his eyes open at all the entire day! He slept like a rock, and I was looking forward to an easy session. That is, until the actual session! It was right at that moment that he decided to get an upset tummy. After much crying, some gripe water, cuddles, and white noise, he completely zonked out. Huzzah!
We started the session doing lifestyle portraits of the family. I don't often do lifestyle portraits outside of what I do for my job with Bella Baby Photography, but I felt it would be best for this session. And I loved how it turned out! Beautiful, clean natural light, in the comfort of their own home.
After the family photos, I was able to do some with just Ronan in the studio style I am known for. Christina had crocheted an adorable owl hat, and I eve got to use the same "elf" hat that big brother Levi wore when he was brand new. So fun to see their differences and similarities! Ronan was a champ for his first photoshoot, and I was able to capture so much of his personality. I am so glad I was able to do this session for my brother and his family!
