Adam & Lauran, Part 2 - {Utah Wedding Photography}

In the last post, we saw the gorgeous pre-wedding bridal portraits for Adam & Lauran.  So let's continue our story!

The day of the wedding was bright and clear, which was great because a few days later we got a huge dumping of snow, lol.  The reception was held outdoors at the lovely Victorian in Layton, UT.  This is a very old and elegant home that has been converted in to a reception center, and is also home to Robert Woods Photography studio.

I was able to take Adam and Lauran all around the grounds for some wonderful images.  The grounds are like a playground for photographers - quaint bridge over a stream, big red barn and tractor, real model-T Ford, grassy fields, and a gorgeous building.

Although I did not stay for the reception, I wanted their family to have something special.  I created a video featuring all the photos we had done previously at the temple, and presented it during the reception.  The downside was that the video was in an MP4 format, which did not work on the DVD player that was available there.  Fortunately, I only lived about 10 minutes away, so I was able to rush home, convert the file, and rush back to the reception with hardly any time being lost.  And the family loved the images!

And speaking of images, here are some from the wedding day.  Enjoy!

Lauran was soooo gorgeous on her wedding day!  She just had a glow about her.  I could tell Adam saw it, too, because he couldn't stop smiling at her.

This is one of my faves from the day - a beautiful moment!  See, they DO glow, lol

Yes, this is a real Model T Ford.  It resides on the property, and the owner said if we were VERY careful, he would allow us to do a few photos in and around it.  So much fun!
Big Red Barn and Tractor.  Seriously, this place is like a playground for photographers and their clients!

Another one of my faves!  Classically romantic.

This one brings tears to my eyes.  Sooo sweet!
