A Trip to the Zoo

Whenever I need a fix for wildlife photography, my first thought is to head to the zoo! Where else can you find so many animals from around the world in one convenient location? Of course, the Hogle zoo is very small, but it suffices. The downside of any zoo, however, is shooting through the cages. Wires, fences, and glass are almost always in the way. And often when they are not, the background can be so distracting! But I make do, and I have fun:-) Here are some of my favorite images.
