End of Day

I was feeling inspired by a nature photographer, Michael Roy, who has AMAZING wildlife photos. Check out his photos, but be warned - Once you start it is hard to stop! And he has many gorgeous photos:-)

Anyway, I decided to follow his lead and try my hand at a photo montage. I am not new to layering one photo over another, but never quite in this way. Ages ago I took a picture of a seagull (in Las Vegas, no less!). I loved the bird, but the sky was overcast and drab, so the bird kind of got lost. I decided to add it to one of the photos I took out at Saltair. I love the way it turned out! I think I am going to have to try this with some other images I have:-)
